The Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires, Malba – Fundación Costantini, is showing a comprehensive solo exhibition of the work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The selection aims to present the best of five decades of intense artistic production, reuniting paintings, works on paper, sculptures, videos, slideshows and installations. The retrospective, entitled Yayoi Kusama: Infinite Obsession, will later tour Brazil and Mexico. Kusama, who is one Japan’s most distinguished artists, also had a large solo show last year at Tate Modern and at the Whitney Museum in New York.
